India: All Projects & Papers

Our research focuses on critical public health and social equity issues in India, generating evidence that informs impactful policymaking. We investigate the prevalence of underage drinking and its associated risks, aiming to shape intervention strategies for youth. Our work on treatment-seeking behavior among hypertensive populations highlights regional disparities that hinder healthcare access, while our analysis of crimes against children provides essential insights for protective policies. Additionally, we explore the effects of indoor secondhand tobacco smoke exposure, advocating for regulations that address tobacco use in households. Our studies on alcohol and tobacco consumption patterns enable targeted public health initiatives, and we promote the economic empowerment of Persons with Disabilities by addressing their challenges in entrepreneurship. Lastly, our research on antimicrobial resistance underscores the need for comprehensive strategies to combat this growing public health threat. Collectively, these thematic areas demonstrate our commitment to advancing public health and social equity in India.
